New Tie Dye Technique

It is 2023! Time has flown for sure. I recently started to learn Shibori tie dye. It is quite different than my normal tie dye processes. So far I have tried Itajime and Kumo. Kumo creates a pattern of spider web-like shapes It is created by evenly tightly wrapping thin thread around sections of fabric. I put sticks inside the fabric to help tie/bind the fabric. I made pillow cases and bandanas. Be on the lookout for more exciting projects involving this technique.
